Mission

Our goal is to teach gymnastics skills safely, while providing fun and fitness. In addition, our school strives to develop gymnastic technique and sound understanding of physical fitness through a recreational environment.

History

Kansas City Gymnastics School opened in 1984 under the ownership of Laura Cashmore and husband Bill Cashmore. Kansas City Gymnastics won their first State Title after just 2 years. In 1988 KC Gymnastics sent their first gymnast to the Junior Olympic Nationals where she medaled on the Vault. KC Gym gymnasts have continued to compete at every level of competition and receive college scholarships for their gymnastics ability.

In May 2023 Kansas City Gymnastics was sold to Angela Hoke, who began working for KC Gym in 2016.  Angela's desire to purchase the business stemmed from her love of the gym and wanting to make sure KC Gym would continue to operate as it had in the past.  As Kansas City Gymnastics enters into its 40th year of operation we are proud to still have nearly 400 kids enter through our doors every week.    

The Kansas City Gymnastics Staff are dedicated to gymnastics excellence, as well as mentoring students to succeed in all areas of life. Laura continues to coach and advise on every level of team competition.
