Our goal is to teach gymnastics skills safely, while providing fun and fitness. In addition, our school strives to develop gymnastic technique and sound understanding of physical fitness through a recreational environment.   

Kansas City Gymnastics has a full range of equipment, from a Pre-School Play Area to Olympic Apparatuses.

Our Pre-School Play Area is designed for safe physical fitness and skill development while providing a fun learning environment.

Kansas City Gymnastics hosts 3-5 Competitions a year.  In addition to our Olympic Equipment, we have a tumble trampoline that allows tumbling routines to be practiced in a safe environment, as well as two full size trampolines.

Our Foam Pit provides essential training for difficult skills in a safe environment, while also entertaining the smallest gymnast and helpingthem gain confidence.

Our Balcony Seating area provides a great view of all the apparatuses, and allows parents to watch theirstudents progress.

Kansas City Gymnastics School opened in 1984. Laura Cashmore and husband Bill Cashmore. After just 2 years Kansas City Gymnastics won their first State Title. And, in 1988 KC Gymnastics sent the first gymnast to the Junior Olympic Nationals where she medaled on the Vault. KC Gymnasts have contined to compete at every level of competition and receive college scholarships for their gymnastics ability.

Laura, Bill and the Kansas City Gymnastics Staff are still dedicated to Gymnastics excellence, as well as mentoring students to success in all areas of life. Laura continues to teach Tiny Tots and Preschool Classes weekly, as well as coaching and supervising every level of team competition.
